Chief Executive at Children's Health Ireland
Eilísh Hardiman is Chief Executive of Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) the body legally established in 2019 to govern and manage children’s acute healthcare services in 4 service locations in Dublin at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly Hospitals as a single entity in partnership with multiple academic institutions to provide integrated pediatric healthcare services, education, research and innovation.
Annually, CHI treats and cares for over 334,500 children and adolescents through 4,000 staff. Children are 25% of the Irish population. CHI provides all national pediatric specialty services, some are on an all-island basis, as well as, all secondary pediatric care for children in the Eastern region of Ireland.
Eilísh has over 30 years of acute academic teaching hospital experience in Ireland, 20 of which at senior corporate management level in several roles, including 3 Chief Executive posts, as Deputy CEO / Chief Operations Officer and Director of Nursing.
