Meritxell López Hernández

Meritxell is the nursing director at the Hospital de Viladecans with 20 years of nursing experience and 10 years in hospital care management. Her initial professional career focused on critical patient care, she worked in the hospital emergency department and at the SEM. In 2011 she started working in the field of hospital management to this day. Her training is related to the critical patient, she has a Master’s degree in Hospital Emergencies, a Master’s degree in Critical Patients and a Postgraduate Degree in Outpatient Emergencies and, related to healthcare management, she has a Master’s Degree in Hospital Nursing Management. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Patient Satisfaction with the Level of Competency in Emergency Triage Nurse.
She enjoys teaching and collaborates in different training programs and believes that lifelong learning is needed.
She is the driving force behind the leadership and competence development of the nurse
