Chief Executive Officer at Tallaght University Hospital, Ireland
Lucy has worked in healthcare for over 30 years and was appointed Chief Executive of Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland in 2019, having held a number of senior leadership management positions across the Irish Health Service. Prior to moving into management she held a number of nursing roles. In addition to her nursing qualifications (Registered General and Children’s Nursing) she has an MSc in Healthcare Management (TCD), BSc Nursing Studies (DCU), and Higher Diplomas in Infection Control (RCSI) and in Leadership & Quality in Healthcare (RCPI) and is currently completing the IESE Advanced Management Programme. She is a guest lecturer on Masters programmes in both Trinity College and the Leadership Institute in the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. She is the previous President of the Health Management Institute of Ireland and is actively involved in the European Association of Hospital Managers.
