I worked as Acting Public Health Minister in the fragile context of Afghanistan with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and stayed in the Office for 37 days under the new regime led by the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan to avoid disruption of healthcare services and ensure a smooth transfer of health sector Leadership to my successor in the context of the recent military and political developments in the country which hopefully happened on 21/09/2021.
I hold MD degree along with MA in Political Science and MSc in Global Health Policy, and Postgraduate Diplomas in Leadership and Ultrasound from International Universities with over 12 years of extensive experience in senior managerial positions with the Afghan Government, International institutions including USAID, the U.S Embassy and the World Bank.
