Dr. Sang-Gyu Lee
Professor at Yonsei University, South Korea
Dr. Sang Gyu Lee is a professor of hospital management in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the College of Medicine and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Healthcare Management at the Graduate School of Public Health, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. He is the President of Korean Society of Hospital Management, the largest academic society for the field of hospital management in Korea. His research focuses on studying the strategy to innovate the way of healthcare delivery by combining the use of policy measures and digital technologies. He was the Director of the New Business Development at Yonsei University Health System, and was responsible for Yonsei University Health System’s several overseas businesses including Qingdao Severance Hospital project in China. He received an M.D. and Ph.D from the Yonsei University, and M.B.A. from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
