Karyl Kopaskie is a healthcare strategy expert and leader creating new approaches to strategic prioritization, program development, projecting healthcare demand and integrating solutions. Karyl has deep content knowledge in strategic planning, health equity, social determinants of health and service line strategy. Future-focused and adept at leveraging data insights and collaboration, Karyl supports health systems finding new pathways to achieve their goals in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Collaborating with experts across Vizient, Karyl helps members define their organizational ambitions and develop actionable road maps to achieve specific goals relating to reducing health disparities. Karyl supports members by identifying market-specific strategic opportunities and generating original content on important industry trends. In addition to her role leading health equity research, Karyl contributes to the development of Sg2’s Impact of Change® forecasting engine, which projects 10-year patient demand across inpatient and outpatient services, focusing most recently on the COVID-modified forecast and SDOH Hyperlocalization enhancement.
