Dr. Hung-Yi Hsu
Deputy Superintendent at Tungs' Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital, Taiwan
Dr. Hsu graduated from the Department of Medicine of National Yang-Ming University. Attracted by the mysteries of the brain, he continued to receive neurology training and became a neurology specialist. From 1997-2009, during his service at TCVGH, he assisted in the establishment of the Stroke Center and served as the director. He continued to conduct research on cerebrovascular diseases and ultrasound diagnosis and obtained a Ph.D. and became an Associate Professor. Because of career planning and in order to get more experience, he transferred to Tungs’ Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital in 2009. Soon after he came to Tungs’ Hospital, he served as the Deputy Superintendent and supervised the Quality Management Center and the accreditation of hospital continuously, including JCI accreditation. Dr. Hsu is currently the Deputy Superintendent, Director of Board of Tungs’ Hospital, also the Director of Taiwan Stroke Society, and the Professor accredited by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan.
