Dr. Frank Chan
Chief Manager (Service Transformation) at Hospital Authority, Hong Kong
Dr Chan got his medical degree in Hong Kong. He is the fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) and the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine.
Dr Chan is the Chief Manager (Service Transformation). He oversees the formulation and implementation of the overall Public-Private Partnership strategy of the Hospital Authority (HA). Prior to his current position, he steered the services development and implementation on numerous important chronic diseases in Hospital Authority, such as cancer, stroke, cardiac, diabetes, COPD, renal as well as the psychiatric services.
Dr Chan also led several initiatives to cope with the daunting challenges of HA during the COVID pandemic. He involved in setting up a Community Treatment Facility (CTF) at Asia-World Expo (AWE) to receive and treat large volume of mild to moderate COVID patients which served as an important landmark to prevent from overwhelming the hospital systems.
