Dr. Dominique Allwood

Dominique is Assistant Director of Improvement at The Health Foundation, a large health and care think tank where she is leading work on anchor institutions and the role of healthcare organisations and systems in improving health. Dominique also works at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the largest hospitals in England, as Associate Medical Director and Deputy Director of Strategy and Improvement. She recently worked as Medical Director of the Nightingale Hospital London, a temporary COVID hospital. She is a Public Health Physician with interest in population health and quality improvement. She has worked in healthcare for the past 17 years. She’s an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London, Associate Editor of BMJ Leader Journal and a Board Member and advisor of the Patient Revolution Clinic, a non-profit healthcare organisation in the US. She is currently a candidate on the Executive MBA Programme at Henley Business School.
