Dr. Christine Mahoney
Chris received her PhD from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. She holds a nursing degree and an MS in quantitative genetics and statistics. She has published widely on the management of healthcare professionals, examining burnout, job turnover, career leaving, job satisfaction, and migration while focusing on results that provide meaningful management interventions. Another research stream examines costs and outcomes in healthcare and the impact the change that medical devices, drugs, staffing, or processes has on costs and outcomes. Currently is Full Professor of Management; College of Business; Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Additionally, Chris has consulted extensively to the healthcare industry—particularly on the change in costs and outcomes resulting from changes in processes, staffing changes, and use of new medical devices. She served as Director of North America for the Mobility of Health Professionals; a 3-year project funded by the European Union government.
