Biography

Dr. Chin-Shui Shih is a senior health specialist of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan. He works in a range of health and development issues such as communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, pharmaceuticals, health policy, humanitarian, trade-related health issues and etc. He has been the Deputy Director-General of the Taipei Cultural and Economic Office in Geneva, Switzerland since 2012. In his capacity, he involves heavily in global health and supervises administration. He proactively connects with diplomatic Missions, health-related international governmental and non-governmental agencies and academic institutes based in Switzerland. He has a PhD degree in Global Health, Geneva University, Switzerland. He holds a MSc. in Health and Social Behavior, Harvard School of Public Health, USA and an MPH in Health Policy from National Taiwan University. He was a guest lecture at University. He has published in peer-reviewed publications on tobacco, e-cigarettes, health promotion, pandemic influenza, and global health issues.
