Dr. Antònia Baraldés-Farré

I was born in 1969 in Gironella (BCN). I studied Medicine in the University of Barcelona. I specialized in Internal Medicine in Hospital St. Pau (BCN) in 1999. Then, I got my PhD in Medicine at Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2002. I got a Master's degree in Healthcare Institutions Management (UAB) in 2009. From 1994 to 2000 I worked as an internal medicine specialist at Hospital St. Pau. From 2001 to 2002 I worked in Hospital de Sabadell (BCN). Since May 2002 to December 2020 I worked in Althaia (Manresa-BCN), first as an emergency doctor (2002 -2007), then as Chief Medical Officer of Home Hospitalisation (2008-2014), then as a Head of the Internal Medicine Service (2014-2018), and finally I became deputy Medical Director. Since December 2020 to present, I’m the Medical Director in Hospital de Berga (Barcelona).
