Biography

Caitríona is an independent specialist in policy, practice and governance for cross border and intersectoral collaborative working. In addition to two decades of hands-on experience in the EU cross border space, including post-conflict economic/social transformation work in her native Northern Ireland/Ireland border region, her technical portfolio includes almost a decade of experience specifically in the field of healthcare systems transformation and governance, including partnerships for integrated care development. She is an associate of AEBR, and the International Centre for Local and Regional Development; she is also an associate expert for the Council of Europe’s Centre of Expertise for Good Governance. Her work has taken her across the EU and beyond its external borders. She is committed to putting humanitarian outcomes and equality at the centre of public decision making and policy implementation. She is a mother and is based in Derry, Northern Ireland.
