Registered Nurse at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, United Arab Emirates
Bincy Babu Maniamma is my name, and I am a registered nurse (RN). I continued my interest in nursing and received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from Rajiv Gandhi University in Banglor, Karnataka, in 2010. I’ve worked in newborn and pediatric intensive care units for 12 years. For the past five years, I have worked as an RN at Mafraq Hospital in Abudhabi, United Arab Emirates (SEHA). I am currently employed as an RN at Sheikh Shakbout Medical City in Abudhabi (UAE) as part of a joint venture between SEHA and the Mayo Clinic. My background as a social worker, bedside nurse, and nurse in critical care has all influenced the way I work with families to help them achieve their health goals. I participate actively in a quality improvement project aimed at reducing necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).
