Senior Director, Operations and Sustainability at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, United States
Aparna Dial has a distinguished public service record with over 25 years of leadership, strategic, and operational experience. As the Senior Director for Operations and Sustainability, she leads sustainability initiatives, refuse and recycling services, facilities contracts, custodial services, central maintenance, and landscaping services (roads and grounds) for The Ohio State University and The Wexner Medical Center. Aparna plays a key role in establishing a national and internal reputation for sustainability through collaborative teaching, pioneering research, comprehensive outreach, innovative operations, practices and policies. Aparna is a member of the President and Provost’s Council on Women and The President and Provost’s Council on Sustainability. She has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Osmania University, India, an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University and an MBA with a focus in finance from The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
