Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at The Aga Khan University, Pakistan
Mr Haji is a member of AKU’s five person Executive Committee that leads the University and its extensive health system. He is heavily engaged in strategy development and execution. Mr Haji has played a critical role in expanding AKU’s health system to seven hospitals and 340 outreach medical centres that operates in 147 cities across South/Central Asia and East Africa treating over 2.5 million patients annually. He is responsible for the planning, funding, financial, legal, and purchasing and supply chain functions.
Mr. Haji also serves as Chair of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) Health Purchase Committee, is a member of the AKDN Endowment Investment Committee, and a member of the Board of the French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children in Kabul.
Mr. Haji is a graduate from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant.
