All rates are in USD or KRW and are VAT inclusive. If you qualify for more than one category, the lowest eligible rate will apply.

Group registration and discounts

Group registrations are managed by the local registration team. To proceed with a group registration:
  1. Download the Group Registration Form here
  2. Complete the required participant details in the second sheet
  3. Send the completed file to 2026whc@woorikorea.kr
  4. An invoice will be issued, and payment can be completed via bank transfer.

Groups from the same organization who register together receive discounts on the total registration fee (excluding add‑ons):

  • 5+ paying delegates: 10% off
  • 10+ paying delegates: 15% off
  • 20+ paying delegates: 20% off
  • 30+ paying delegates: 25% off

Registration Terms and Conditions

  • Woori Company, the local Professional Congress Organizer (PCO) for the 49th World Hospital Congress, manages the registration process and collects registration fees on behalf of the International Hospital Federation.
  • For safety, security, and the professional nature of the event, entry to the World Hospital Congress is strictly limited to individuals aged seventeen (17) years and above. Persons aged sixteen years and below will not be permitted entry to the venue under any circumstances. Attendees may be required to present valid identification upon request to verify age compliance.
  • A confirmation receipt will be issued once payment is processed.
  • Early bird registration is available until 24 July 2026. After this date, the regular rate will apply.
  • Fees are charged in US Dollars and Korean Won. Currency exchange rates are determined by banks and credit card companies, which may result in slight variations in the final amount charged.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit card (Mastercard, Visa and JCB) and bank transfer.
  • If you pay via credit card, the merchant name on your card statement will appear as ‘Woori Company‘.
  • Due to Korean payment gateway regulations, credit card payments will only be available starting 18 April 2026. Before this date, registrations and payments may be completed via bank transfer only. If you plan to pay by credit card, please register on or after 18 April.
  • All transaction fees, including intermediary bank charges for wire transfers, are the responsibility of the attendee.
  • The visa application support letter will be provided only after full payment has been received.
  • In case of a visa denial, a full refund will be issued, less bank transfer, credit card, and foreign exchange fees.
  • Badges will be issued only upon receipt of full payment.
  • Cancellation:
    • On or before 19 August 2026: Full refund.
    • 20 August – 19 September 2026: Partial refund (USD 50 / KRW70,000 deducted).
    • 20 September onwards: No refund (registration transfer to a colleague permitted).
  • Refunds will be processed within 10 days of receiving the written cancellation request.
  • The International Hospital Federation, Korean Hospital Association, and Woori Company are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from transfers, substitutions, alterations, cancellations, or postponements of the event.

  • Payment options

    Payments can be made via credit card (Mastercard, Visa and JCB) and bank transfer.

  • Accompanying person

    You can purchase an accompanying person ticket for your spouse/partner, family member, or personal assistant. They will have access to the Welcome Reception, refreshments, lunch breaks, and the exhibition area. Access to the scientific sessions is not included except for your session (if you are presenting). This can be purchased at USD 260 / KRW 364,000.

  • Travel information

    Visa

    You can check if you need to apply for a visa here. We strongly recommend applying early, as some visa processes may take over a month to complete.

    If you require an invitation letter for your visa application, it will be issued after your registration fee has been fully paid. Once payment is complete, log in to your registration account, go to “My Registration”, then complete the form to download your visa invitation letter.

    Take advantage of these additional activities, now bookable when you register for Congress:

    • Hospital visits (19 and 22 October) – Learn from some of the leading hospitals and healthcare facilities in Seoul. Reserve your place on a guided tour that will offer insights into innovative practices and systems. These visits are exclusively available to Congress delegates for an additional fee of USD 50 / KRW 70,000. Advance booking and payment are required, as slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. More information here.

    • Additional ticket for the Welcome Reception (19 October) – Your registration will include access to the Welcome Reception on 19 October, but you can purchase an additional ticket for your guest for USD 65 / KRW 91,000.
    • IHF Awards Gala Dinner (21 October) – Celebrate the winners of the IHF Awards during a special awarding ceremony and dinner that will provide a taste of Korean culture. You can purchase up to two tickets for USD 120 / KRW 168,000 each.
