Ms Shatha Al Qadi

Medical Technician, Emirates Health Services, UAE

Shatha Al Qadi is a dynamic force in the healthcare sector, combining eight years of experience with Dubai Health Authority and Emirates Health Services. With five years in healthcare and three years of dedicated research expertise, she has contributed to impactful data and statistics initiatives, transforming decision-making processes and advancing healthcare outcomes. A Zayed University alumni with a Bachelor’s in Public Health and Nutrition, Shatha also holds a Professional License in Nutrition. Her proficiency in data science, research, and experimental design makes her a vital asset in strategic data utilization. An active board member of the Zayed University Alumni Association, Shatha continues to inspire and drive meaningful change in healthcare.

Dr José Antonio de la Hoz-Valle

Deputy Director of Clinical Research, Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, Colombia

José Antonio de la Hoz-Valle, MD, MSc, is a prominent researcher and medical professional affiliated with the Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, where he serves as the Deputy Director of Clinical Research. In this role, he manages, promotes, and enhances research processes within the institution, ensuring the quality and integrity of clinical research.

Dr de la Hoz-Valle holds a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology and is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Research Management. He is also a Physician with a degree in Medicine and Surgery. Additionally, he is actively involved in the academia, serving as a Professor at both the Universidad de los Andes and the Universidad El Bosque – where he supervises graduate theses in medical and surgical specialties.

His research spans various clinical and methodological themes. Clinically, he has focused on gastroenterology, studying digestive system disorders through observational studies and clinical trials. In hematology, his work investigates blood diseases and disorders, emphasizing clinical and therapeutic aspects. He has also contributed significantly to infectious diseases research, focusing on the epidemiology, prevention, and treatment of these conditions. Methodologically, Dr de la Hoz-Valle has conducted meta-analyses, providing comprehensive conclusions on clinical interventions and outcomes. His observational studies include cohort and case-control studies, analyzing survival rates and risk factors across different populations.

His research interests include improving quality in clinical trials, managing long-stay patients, and promoting evidence-based practices in clinical research.

Dr Shaik Mohiuddin

Chief Quality Officer, Al Dhafra Hospitals, UAE

Dr Shaik Mohiuddin, FACHE, has more than 17 years of experience in healthcare leadership, with a focus on quality and patient safety. He held pivotal roles at major private healthcare systems in the UAE, making substantial contributions in the areas of patient safety and clinical governance. Presently, he serves as the Chief Quality Officer at Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA) in the Al Dhafra region under Pure Health Group.

Dr Mohiuddin’s academic qualifications include a bachelor’s in dental surgery, a Membership and Membership in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, UK, and a master’s degree in health administration, and he is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in quality and Patient Safety from Johns Hopkins University, USA.

Dr Mohiuddin’s professional credentials are a testament to his unwavering commitment to ongoing learning and excellence in healthcare and patient safety. He has earned prestigious fellowships and certifications, including the Fellowship from the American Academy of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and the Certified Health Executive (CHE) credential from the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Canadian College of Health Leaders.

DrbMohiuddin’s expertise is in bridging knowledge and implementation gaps, a skill that has consistently contributed to enhancing systems and processes in healthcare settings. His significant contributions to research in quality and safety further demonstrate his commitment to improving healthcare practices.

Prof. Dr Anupam Sibal

Group Medical Director, Apollo Hospitals, India

Prof. Dr. Anupam Sibal, MD, FIMSA, FIAP, FRCP (Glasg), FRCP (Lon), FRCPCH, FAAP is the Group Medical Director of the Apollo Hospitals Group and a Senior Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist.

With more than 26 years of experience with a proven track record in high visibility roles, he served as a member of the leadership team credited with establishing Apollo Hospitals Group as the largest healthcare provider in India and the region. Back in 1998, he helped set up the first successful liver transplant program in India at Apollo Hospitals.

He is the Co-Chair of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Committee on Health Services 2024-25. He is also a Member of the Governing Council of NATHEALTH since 2023 and a Member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Healthcare Committee since 2015.

Before leading the Apollo Hospitals Group, Prof. Dr Sibal served as the President of the Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) – a global collaboration bringing together 1.4 million physicians of Indian origin from 57 countries on one platform 2020–2022. He is known to have championed the patient safety movement in India and acknowledged as an international expert in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology.

Prof. Dr Sibal is also part of the team responsible for the first successful international accreditation of a hospital in India by the Joint Commission International (JCI)in 2005. Now, he is a Member of the JCI Middle East Advisory Board.

He is the Author of the national best seller “Is Your Child Ready to Face the World’? and has edited two books, 151 publications, 16 chapters, and more than 400 national and international lectures.
