Discover the innovations shaping the future of cancer care delivery in this peer learning workshop. Featuring a presentation focusing on the role of digital innovation, this session will facilitate exchanges on a broad range of innovations transforming cancer programmes around the world. Through roundtable discussions and real-world case studies, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and good practices, and hear success stories from facing common challenges.

This interactive workshop is hosted by the IHF’s Cancer Leadership Network in collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Participation is open to all IHF members implementing cancer programmes.

Director, Strategic Program Management, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, USA

Adam Mercer is a Strategy Director at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he leads initiatives focused on institutional strategy, international growth, and global partnerships. He works with clinical and administrative leadership to expand MSK’s global impact through patient care, education, research, and advisory collaborations.

Previously, he held strategy and analytics leadership positions at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Harvard teaching hospital, and worked as a management consultant advising organizations on strategy, operational transformation, and corporate transactions. He holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA in Computer Science from Duke University.

Ms Judy Hagerty

Senior VP, Diagnostics, Inpatient & Clinical Operations, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, USA

Judy Hagerty is the Senior Vice President of Hospital Administration at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).  She leads the enterprise-wide clinical operations of Radiology, Pathology, and Laboratory Medicine services.  Judy is also responsible for Revenue Integrity, Health Information Management, and the Patient Flow Command Center

In this role, Judy works with the respective teams to continuously improve processes while aligning with, and in pursuit of institutional goals.  She delivers executive leadership across key operations, supporting strategic planning, organizational development and healthcare performance initiatives.

Having more than 40 years of experience at MSK, Judy has worked in various departments including: Admissions Center, Operating Room, and provided increasing levels of senior leadership for areas including: Pharmacy Services, Data Administration, Health Information Management, International Center, Health Informatics, Patient Flow, and Hospital Administration.

While at MSK Judy has developed expertise in Data Management, Revenue Cycle, HIPAA Privacy requirements, Health Informatics, and enabled digital and operational transformation across a variety of domain areas.

Judy holds a master’s degree in health care management from the NYU Wagner School of Public Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Fordham University.
