Dr Moza A Latif Hassan Abdulla Alishaq

Dr. Moza A. Al Ishaq is Deputy Chief Quality Officer at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), where she leads quality, patient safety, and clinical transformation across Qatar’s national healthcare system. With more than two decades in healthcare, she has become one of the region’s foremost voices on risk management and patient safety.

As the first Qatari national to build and lead risk management and patient-safety programs at HMC, Dr. Al Ishaq has spent her career turning ideas into lasting systems. She established Qatar’s first “Risk Management Week,” co-founded the Qatar Summit for Healthcare Risk Management in partnership with ASHRM, and shaped HMC’s Enterprise Risk Management and Clinical Governance frameworks. Through the Quality Management Education Program, she has trained more than 1,000 healthcare leaders. She recently published her book, Transforming Healthcare: A Practical Guide to Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.

She holds a PhD in Patient Safety and Human Errors from Indiana University–Purdue University, along with a nursing degree from Qatar University.

Mr Vincent Tammaro

Vincent Tammaro serves as a financial leader for the Mount Sinai Health System, helping guide and execute the organization’s financial and strategic priorities. Working closely with leadership, he contributes to the development of Mount Sinai’s five-year strategic plan and oversees a portfolio of responsibilities, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, investments, grants, endowments, financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, purchasing, supply chain operations, revenue cycle management, and payer strategy.

Mr. Tammaro brings more than 30 years of experience in hospital and health care financial management. Before joining Mount Sinai, he served as Chief Financial Officer of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he led finance, treasury, information technology, data analytics, revenue cycle, supply chain, managed care, and functions. He established a leadership model that aligned finance, clinical, and operational teams to support service line strategy. He advanced payer innovation through value based care arrangements, alternative payment models, and direct to employer partnerships.

Previously, Mr. Tammaro spent 20 years at Yale New Haven Health, including service as CFO and Treasurer from 2016 to 2022. He serves on the boards of Ambulatory Services Corporation and York Enterprises and remains active in community and church organizations.

Ms Barbara Walczyk Joers

Barbara Walczyk Joers has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare since late 2013, leading one of the nation’s premier pediatric specialty organizations dedicated to children and young adults with complex, rare and traumatic musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. A mission-driven and collaborative leader, she is focused on transforming child health through highly specialized care, inclusive support systems, and improved access for children with disabilities and medical complexity.

With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, Barbara brings deep expertise in strategic performance, organizational transformation, and health policy and advocacy. She has held leadership roles across pediatric and adult care settings, including academic medical centers, community health systems, and independent children’s hospitals. Under her leadership, Gillette Children’s has expanded its reach, modernized facilities and technology, and strengthened its role as a national leader in multidisciplinary care, research integration, and advocacy.

A recognized thought leader, Barbara serves on the Boards of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Medical Alley Association, and the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, and is active in organizations including the American Hospital Association. She holds degrees from Marymount University and The George Washington University and completed the Wharton Corporate Governance certificate.
