Session description:

Are you a healthcare leader aiming to advance sustainability in your organization? Is your organization already implementing sustainability practices or just starting your sustainability journey?

For healthcare leaders across the world, developing and managing a clear path of action to advance sustainability in hospitals and health systems is a critical concern. As part of our commitment to accelerate action worldwide, the Geneva Sustainability Centre presents the Sustainability Accelerator Tool (SAT), a digital solution designed specifically for hospital and healthcare executives to advance sustainability in their organization.

Since its launch in October 2023, the SAT has already proven its value to empower organizations and inform sustainability strategies worldwide. This session will demonstrate the impact of the SAT at the hospital and system level and the important benefits of implementing sustainable practices in your hospital including cost savings. An analysis of data across hospitals where SAT has been adopted will be presented, demonstrating the main strengths and opportunity areas in the healthcare sector. Several hospitals will also demonstrate how they are using SAT to support and empower their organization to strategize, identify sustainability opportunities, and define priorities.

This session is open to anyone who is interested in the agenda. Join us to learn how you can support sustainability in your hospital.
