Dr Gabrielle Bunney

Gabrielle Bunney, MD, MBA, MS is an Assistant Professor in the department of Emergency Medicine at Stanford University. She has worked on projects spanning the whole life cycle in AI for clinical use, from model design and building, to model optimization, and finally the technical and clinical translation of AI for use in patient care. She received her Master’s degree from Stanford University’s Department of Biomedical Data Science, where she gained data science the technical experience to apply to her clinical knowledge. Additionally, she holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management with a focus in finance and is working with groups at Stanford that are bridging the gap between academic medicine and industry. She is a part of the Stanford Emergency Medicine Partnership Program (STEPP) aimed at building collaborations between the emergency department and companies focused on patient care solutions. The combination of a business background and research skills allow her to focus on the implementation of AI technologies into practice. She is continuing working on AI in healthcare with the philosophy that at the heart of innovation there must be a confluence of the strategic vision of the healthcare organization, economic viability, and practical operationalization.

My work focuses on implementing evidence-based practices, improving clinical outcomes, strengthening organizational performance, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Alongside my leadership responsibilities, I remain actively engaged in clinical practice, medical education, and research. Since 2008, I have been involved in undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education, mentoring students, residents, and physicians. I contribute to curriculum development and professional training programmes.
My research focuses on bronchiectasis, interstitial lung diseases, chronic pulmonary aspergillosis, pulmonary vascular diseases, and respiratory infections. I have authored more than 150 scientific publications, delivered over 100 presentations at national and international conferences, and serve as National Delegate of the European Respiratory Society for the Republic of Moldova.

Mr Owen Wai Lok Ng

Owen Ng is a dual-background healthcare professional with Emergency Nursing experience and Health Informatics, currently serving as a Health Informatics Analyst at the Head Office of Hong Kong’s Hospital Authority (HA), managing Smart Hospital Clinical AI project development and implementation.

His major portfolio includes AI Patient Deterioration Prediction (improving clinical monitoring and patient outcomes with reduced mortality and length of stay), AI Imaging Detection (reducing missed diagnoses such as CXR lung mass, hip fracture, and CT brain intracranial haemorrhage), and AI Medical Report and Patient Summary tools (streamlining clinical documentation and operational efficiency).

Owen is committed to advancing patient safety and quality improvement, advocating evidence-based clinical AI as an enabler for better patient outcomes.

Mr Pratyush Srivastava

Pratyush Srivastava is Vice President and Group Head – Business Transformation at Narayana Health, one of India’s largest hospital networks, based in Bengaluru. Since 2022, he has led strategic business transformation initiatives, driving digital innovation, process optimization, operational excellence, and enhanced patient experience across the group’s hospitals.

He holds an MBA in Operations from the Indian School of Business and a degree from the National Institute of Technology Calicut. Pratyush is known for championing customer-centric digital solutions, such as WhatsApp-enabled admissions and streamlined outpatient services. He contributes to industry discussions on AI in healthcare and regularly shares insights on healthcare transformation.A results-driven executive, he combines deep operational expertise with strategic vision to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes in India’s evolving healthcare landscape.

Ms Regine Ee Chin Teo

Ms Regine Teo is an MRI radiographer at National University Hospital, Singapore, and holds a Master of Magnetic Resonance Technology from the University of Queensland. Her experience includes developing MRI on-the-job training programmes, training guidelines, scanning protocols, and MRI safety manuals. She has played a key role in training and in establishing specialised MRI services, including myocardial perfusion imaging, functional MRI, and MR spectroscopy.

In her current role, she bridges clinical practice and research, combining human expertise with emerging technologies to solve systemic challenges. She has led departmental initiatives that harness data analytics to enhance safety, reduce redundancies, and improve operational efficiency. These efforts were recognised with the National Healthcare Innovation and Productivity (NHIP) Medal 2024 for Best Practice Medal (Automation, IT & Robotics Innovation), and the Chief Executive Commendation Award 2025.

At this year’s WHC, Regine presents her work on implementing data analytics for pre-MRI safety screening of patients with implantable medical devices — a human-in-the-loop solution that significantly reduced screening workload and serves as the first line of defence in a multi-layered MRI safety workflow.

Prof. Ravi Trehan

Dr Ravi Trehan is Dean of Research and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi, where he provides strategic leadership in clinical research, innovation, and academic excellence. With over 30 years of experience in trauma and orthopaedic surgery across the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, he is recognised for his expertise in upper limb, shoulder and knee reconstruction, complex trauma, and joint preservation surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Trehan has held senior leadership positions that have advanced healthcare quality, patient safety, and operational excellence. As former Medical Director of SSMC’s Admission and Transfer Center, he led initiatives that optimised patient flow and strengthened multidisciplinary care across one of the region’s largest tertiary hospitals.
As Dean of Research, he oversees research governance, clinical trials, and innovation programs that promote evidence-based healthcare and translate scientific discovery into improved patient outcomes. His work has been published in leading international journals, and he is a Guinness World Record holder for collaborative medical authorship.

Beyond his clinical and research leadership, Dr Trehan is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Orthopaedics at Khalifa University and Gulf Medical University, where he mentors future clinicians and advances medical education.
