Mr Will Clark

Will Clark is an expert specializing in the health and life sciences sectors, and Sustainability Director with the Geneva Sustainability Centre (GSC), where he works internationally with healthcare leaders, hospitals, suppliers, NGOs, and policy actors to advance sustainable healthcare system transformation.

He was previously Executive Director of Health Care Without Harm Europe where he worked extensively on healthcare decarbonization and circular economy strategies at both national and global levels. Prior to this, Will served as a sustainability director within the NHS, developing the award-winning Care Without Carbon programme, and supporting NHS hospitals and provider organizations to develop and implement effective carbon reduction and sustainability strategies. Through his work across healthcare systems and international partnerships, Will focuses on translating sustainability ambition into practical, system-level action.

He has a BSc in Environmental Biogeoscience from the University of Leeds and a MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.

Prof. Andrew Garman

Andrew N. Garman is Professor of Health Systems Management at RUSH University in Chicago, IL, USA, and Senior Advisor for Leadership Development with the International Hospital Federation’s Geneva Sustainability Centre. As an educator, Andrew regularly facilitates programs for healthcare executives on a variety of leadership, organizational change, environmental sustainability and foresight topics. As a scholar, he has contributed to over one hundred research articles, book chapters, major reports and books, and currently serves as Associate Editor for planetary health leadership for BMJ Leader. He received his BS in psychology / mathematics emphasis from Penn State, his MS in Personnel and Human Resource Development from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and his PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the College of William & Mary.
