There are several hospital and health institution site visits that will take place on 8 November and 11 November. Hospital visits are not included in the delegate registration and must be booked and paid for in advance. The fee is USD 35. Slots are very limited so we suggest you register early. You can sign-up for any of them when you register for the Congress. Only congress participants can join the site visits.

Transportation will be arranged and the assembly point is at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (DWTC). Departure time on 8 Nov (Tue) is at 13:00 and you will return at DWTC at 17:00. The actual length of the visit is up to 2 hours plus travel time of 30 minutes per way.

In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, Al Jalila Foundation expanded its research portfolio to address the coronavirus and other emerging diseases affecting mankind.
In August 2020, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed inaugurated the Mohammed Bin Rashid Medical Research Institute, a AED 300 million multi-disciplinary research centre established by Al Jalila Foundation to be a beacon of hope for the UAE and the Arab region.
In April 2021, Al Jalila Foundation announced plans to establish the UAE’s first cancer charity hospital ‘Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Charity Hospital’ to help patients in need.

Al Jalila Foundation is part of Dubai Academic Health Corporation, the UAE’s first integrated academic health system, working to advance health for humanity.
Attendees will tour Al Jalila Foundation and visit the Mohamed Bin Rashid Medical Research Institute, followed by a presentation about the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Charity Hospital being developed by Al Jalila Foundation.

Dubai Hospital was established in 1983 and is currently a 610 bed hospital with 424 inpatient beds and 186 daycare services. Dubai hospital has more than 26 medical and surgical specialties and several subspecialties that include highly advanced critical care units.
The hospital’s 24/7 Emergency Department has highly specialized staff and advanced biomedical equipment. Dubai Hospital provides unique services such as nuclear medicine which is a one-of-its kind service at a regional level. Some of the other specialized services are ophthalmology, oncology, nephrology, rheumatology and ENT services. Dubai Hospital is working closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued enhancement of its services.

Rashid Hospital is a tertiary specialized academic hospital, which includes a state-of-the-art Emergency and Trauma Centre. It is a regional center of excellence for emergency and trauma care. The 762-bed hospital includes highly specialized surgical, medical, intensive care units, as well as operating theaters and clinical support services.
Rashid Hospital was established in March 1973. It has undergone expansions to keep up with the growth in population and increase in patient numbers. It is a JCI accredited hospital since October 2007. Rashid Hospital provides emergency, in-patient and out-patient services to patients.
The hospital is one of busiest in the region, as it is highly recognized for its specialized trauma and emergency care services and receives patients not only from Dubai but also from the Northern Emirates with a 68-bed emergency department and is considered a major disaster facility for Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The delegates will be given a tour of our state-of-the-art emergency & trauma center, the intensive care units and operation theatres.

SSMC has been in operation since January, 2020, through a joint venture between Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and Mayo Clinic USA. A major transformation is underway to develop SSMC into a destination medical center serving patients in the UAE and surrounding region with serious or complex diseases. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD) is a unique extension of the world-class Cleveland Clinic care model, adapted to the Middle East in partnership with Mubadala Health. The 396-bed hospital focuses on providing high-complexity care including acting as a regional center of excellence for stroke, STEMI, and critical care. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi recently completed its 300th solid organ transplant and will open a new outpatient cancer center in November to support a rapidly growing cancer treatment program. The facility was designed from the ground up to provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care with a four-star hospitality experience, from spacious lobbies and private patient rooms, to translation services and enhanced food offerings. As part of the 2025 vision, CCAD is focusing on precision medicine with the intention of leveraging the unique UAE ecosystem to inform care using omics and increase the personalization of the patient experience.
