E-poster display and presentation

Display setup

All E-posters and virtual posters will be uploaded to shared digital screens at the Poster Zone in the Exhibition Hall, on the 1st floor of COEX Magok Convention Center.

Please note the following:

  • Delegates will be able to browse and view posters from any screen during the Congress days (19–22 October).
  • Posters are not assigned to specific screens and will be available across all screens.
  • Presenters may use any available screen to showcase their poster at any time.
  • As screens are shared, presenters should avoid occupying screens for extended periods.

Presentation and tour

Presentations are scheduled on 20 October from 17:15–18:45. You are required to be present during this time and be prepared to present and answer questions from attendees.

The Poster presentations and tour provide an excellent opportunity to present your work and network with fellow delegates. Winners of the Best Poster Awards will also be announced before the poster tour.

During the Poster Presentation and Tour, each E-poster will be allocated 4 minutes on the digital screens.

Featured track during networking breaks

To help ensure that all posters receive good visibility throughout the Congress, selected tracks will be highlighted during the networking coffee breaks. The featured track schedule has been arranged based on the number of posters in each track to provide balanced exposure across all presentations.

During these periods, only the featured track will be displayed on the E-poster screens. Each E-poster will be allocated 4 minutes on the digital screens before the next poster is displayed.

If your poster belongs to one of the featured tracks below, we strongly encourage you to be at your poster during the corresponding break.

Date Break Featured track
20 October Morning coffee break (10:30 – 11:00) Track 5
Afternoon coffee break (15:30 – 16:00)
21 October Morning coffee break (10:30 – 11:00) Track 1
Afternoon coffee break (15:30 – 16:00) Tracks 2 and 3
22 October Morning coffee break (10:30 – 10:50) Track 4

Poster format and contents

All E-posters will be displayed on digital screens at the Congress, published on the WHC mobile app during the Congress and on the Congress website after the event.

Please send a digital copy of your poster in 1080 × 1920 resolution and in PDF format to selena.campaner@ihf-fih.org by 18 September 2026. It is important that this is submitted by the deadline to ensure that your poster is considered for the Best Poster Awards. Any submissions after this date will not be considered.

File size: All posters must not exceed 10MB.

Language: All posters must be in English.

Multiple abstracts: If you have multiple accepted abstracts, please note the following:

  • An author may present twice, but can only present either:
    • one printed poster and one e-poster OR
    • two e-posters.
  • Additional accepted abstracts must be presented by other listed co-authors.

Contents

Your poster should align with the content of your abstract and focus on the most important information for clarity and impact.

Please ensure that:

  • The central idea of your poster is immediately clear.
  • Text is concise and easy to read, with detailed explanations reserved for discussions.
  • Language is accessible, avoiding jargon or clearly explaining technical terms when necessary.

Your poster should include:

  • Title
  • Track
  • Authors (Only the presenting author will appear in the programme; co-authors should be acknowledged on the poster)
  • Main content
  • QR code linking to your organization’s website or public contact information (if available)

Please note that advertisements are prohibited, although references to sponsorship are allowed.

Format

Size and layout orientation: The poster should be designed in 1080 × 1920 resolution. As it will be displayed vertically both at the venue and on the WHC mobile app, the design must follow a portrait layout, ensuring that the height is greater than the width.

Font: Text should be readable from approximately 1.5 meters. Please use sans-serif fonts such as Helvetica and avoid mixing type styles. Use upper- and lower-case text for readability, and left-align text for easier reading.

We recommend:

  • Title: 80–100 pt
  • Heading: 48–60 pt
  • Body text: 26–32 pt with single or 1.15 spacing

Design recommendations

Use visuals thoughtfully to support your message, as graphics can help make your poster more engaging and easier to understand.

We recommend:

  • Using clear, high-quality graphics such as photos, charts, diagrams, and tables to present data or key messages.
  • Choosing colours purposefully to highlight, differentiate, or draw attention to important content.
  • Keeping the background light (e.g. white or light grey) with dark text (e.g. black or navy blue) for maximum readability.
  • Avoiding large blocks of bright or saturated colours, as they can be distracting and reduce clarity.
  • Limiting your colour palette to 2–3 main colours to maintain a clean and professional appearance, and using bold colours sparingly and consistently.

Poster review

If you have not presented a poster before, the Scientific Committee can review draft posters ahead of the Congress.

To take advantage of this opportunity:

  • Please send a draft of your poster in PDF format to selenacampaner@ihf-fih.org no later than 21 August 2026.
  • We will then request feedback from the Scientific Committee.

Best Poster Awards

A special jury composed of members of the Scientific Committee will evaluate the posters. Winners will be announced and awarded during the Poster presentations and tour on 20 October 2026.
