Deadline extended! Submissions for the IHF Awards and i-to-i Innovation Hub now accepted until 16 May
The deadline for entries to the IHF Awards is extended to 16 May
You have 3 more weeks to submit! The deadline to complete your entry to the IHF Awards is now extended to 16 May. And this year is special, it marks a decade of celebrating the remarkable achievements of hospitals and health service providers worldwide. In 2025, we will continue recognizing outstanding projects, programmes, and services that drive healthcare forward. The winners will be revealed at the Awards Gala Reception on 12 November during the 48th IHF World Hospital Congress in Geneva, Switzerland.
These are the eight categories open for submissions:
- Grand Hospital Award
- Excellence Award for Clinical Quality and Patient Safety
- Excellence Award for Healthcare Workers’ Wellbeing
- Award for Hospital Operational Excellence
- Excellence Award for Leadership and Management
- Excellence Award for Low-Carbon Healthcare
- Excellence Award for Social and Environmental Responsibility
- Excellence Award for Hospital Sustainability Acceleration

Applications for the i-to-i Innovation Hub extended to 16 May
This year, under the theme ‘hospital-born innovation’, the Hub will recognize hospital-born solutions that are significantly advancing patient care and challenging traditional practices to enhance how leading hospitals operate. Whether your innovation is improving patient outcomes, boosting efficiency and productivity, supporting the workforce, improving the carbon footprint of your hospital, or transforming the patient experience, we want to hear from you.
The Innovation Hub is not only about recognition, it’s about learning from innovators like you. A showcase of selected innovations will be part of the programme at the 48th IHF World Hospital Congress.

The 48th World Hospital Congress is organized by the IHF and the University Hospital of Geneva and will take place at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG). Join us in Switzerland – the centre of global health expertise and dialogue.
