Priya Singh serves as Stanford Medicine’s Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, and Senior Associate Dean – an enterprise-wide role across the $17 billion academic health system where she leads strategic planning, global strategy, industry relations, and public relations/communications. She came to this position with extensive multi-disciplinary experience, having held leadership roles at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Oracle, and Levi Strauss & Co.
Leveraging her tenure across academia, technology, and retail, Priya spearheaded Stanford Medicine’s inaugural strategic plan, uniting education, research, and clinical care to enhance patient outcomes, expedite research breakthroughs, and streamline educational offerings. As part of her role, she advises Stanford’s senior leaders, including CEOs and deans, and builds cross-functional teams for matrixed projects.
Priya’s career includes managing global business operations, assessing international market potential, and executive education initiatives. She founded the Stanford Ignite program, providing essential business training and resources to entrepreneurs and start-ups in emerging markets. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies.
